Enjoyed steaming parcels of selected meat fish and vegetables using herbed butter Parsley sage rosemary and thyme, Family visits made individual parcels with different produce and herbs, Everyone enjoyed talking about them.
Dutch Oven and baking My Sourdough bread.

Started baking sourdough bread ‘90’s part of rebuilding self, Became obvious apartment’s fan forced oven terrible for baking bread.
Falling back to memories of being army cook using Dutch oven on extended manoeuvres, Now use large cast-iron pot backing rack and small steel bowl, Little water in bowl risen bread carefully positioned lid in place even heat, Anxious wait.
Took practice, Adjusted bread cooking times and temperatures, Worth my effort delicious crusty sourdough bread produced consistently thrice weekly for many years, Last loaf sadly 2018.

Steam ovens all the rage, Latest marketing craze.
Never used one and never intend too, Yes great for vegetables but what about browning roasts pork crackling ribs and pork belly?
Consider getting combination oven steam with conventional electrical elements.
