Staying Home
A poem about being at home

Staying at home A safe place to be Our comfy space Of tranquility And peace Either On a hill A side street Or a block, A tower, Wherever it maybe It’s a spot We call hope.
A surrounding Of purity To purify Our beings, Cleansing negativity From our Trapped, Sensitive minds, Cleansing us Giving us Prosperity, aspiration, inspiration.
A colorful setting, Mindful, therapeutic, Spirited happiness, Relaxing layout Where We live, eat, sleep, And love With joyful gain In times Of lockdown, Disease, dread, plague, A blight of affliction We cannot comprehend.
A room We can trust To be our Jovial space To do and be In everything We aspire We desire We create For our future In this place We call home.
