State of a Wandering Mind

A Poetic Journey of Intrigue, Transformation, and Uncertainty

My mind is wandering,

day in and day out,

I don’t know what it is,

you’ve turned my soul inside out.

Even when nothing seems to be happening in life,

I always have something to think about.

Be it sunrise or sunset,

my heart never seems to take a rest,

I don’t know if I am possessed,

I am just trying to be my best.

But sometimes I just want to cheat,

as if I’m being put through a test.

My attitude towards life is changing,

I was a person referred to as chilled,

since I met you my focus is altering,

I’ve become someone who is always thrilled.

Don’t know where my life is headed next,

I hope it doesn’t get me killed.
