If your anything like me, the rush and excitement you get from taking on a new business venture almost clouds your thinking.

Where I have usually went wrong in the past, and where I assume you may have as well; Is marketing. We need a steady flow of interested leads, which we means we need a way to generate some initial interest…

In my opinion, before we worry too much about perfecting our offer, lets just get ourselves an MVP (Minimal Viable Product), and validate it by getting traffic to that offer. To get traffic to that offer we’ll need to build an audience. This is the most sustainable way to do this, I’ll explain why right away.

We need people who are fans of what we do, and are likely to share it around. In 2023 it probably doesn’t surprise you to hear me recommend we do it on TikTok or YouTube.

See if we can generate most of our leads from social media, we’ve built a simple, repeatable process;

  1. Post good content on social media to get Traffic to your offer.
  2. Convert/Retarget traffic with email subscription/ SMS subscription.
  3. Start seeing results…

Admittedly, most of the magic is in that second step, but we can’t get there without the 1st.
