Stare at the Person You Want to Become
The 5th Special Forces group sends Soldiers to General Electric every year as part of a partnership with the company. The intent of the program is for the Soldiers to observe business practices from a top company that they can transfer to military operations. That is it, just observe. These Special Operations Soldiers recognize the power of observing high-performing organizations and their people.
Like Tony Robbins says, “Success leaves clues.”
This is part of the process of building talent, gaining mastery, and rising to the top of your abilities.
Although there are many factors to consider, the first step is pretty clear: decide how the person you want to become would act, then start acting that way.
