Travel Restrictions Lifted
St Kitts and Nevis Just Lifted All Travel Restrictions
St Kitts and Nevis is the latest Caribbean destination to remove all of its travel restrictions

According to the Caribbean Journal, St Kitts and Nevis is the latest Caribbean destination to remove all of its travel restrictions.
This means that travelers no longer have to show proof of a negative test or show proof of vaccination to enter.
There’s also no quarantine of any kind.
Travelers are NOT required to: • Present a negative COVID-19 test. • Show proof of vaccination to enter the Federation of St. Kitts and Nevis. • Quarantine upon arrival.
Ellison Thompson, CEO of the St. Kitts Tourism Authority, said, “The removal of entry testing and vaccination requirements comes when traveler confidence is on the rise. Increasing demand and seamless travel will make St. Kitts even more desirable to visitors abroad.”
“We’re excited to be taking this crucial step to open Nevis’ borders to the world fully,” said Devon Liburd, CEO of the Nevis Tourism Authority. “Lifting these protocols will allow us to further share our rich culture and offerings to visitors coming to the island.”

What is to see in St Kitts and Nevis?
Besides the beautiful beaches and water, this area is steeped in history.

FAIRVIEW GREAT HOUSE & BOTANICAL GARDENS
This 18th-century Great House has been authentically restored to its former glory with careful attention to historical detail. Step back in time as you wander through the dining room with its sixteen-seat mahogany dinner table and antique silver service, as well as the Historical Room that chronicles the fascinating past of Fairview. Step onto the master bedroom veranda and enjoy the breathtaking panoramic vista of the Caribbean Sea, South-East Peninsula, and St. Kitts’ sister island of Nevis. Then take a leisurely stroll through the Botanical Garden filled with local flora, identified with signage providing interesting information about each. Don’t forget to watch the monkeys who love to feast on the fruit trees on the property.

OLD ROAD BAY
Here at Old Road Bay, Sir Thomas Warner, his family, and 14 other colonists began the first permanent European settlement in the Leeward Islands. Rather than cultivating sugar, it was tobacco that had drawn Warner to the island, and it was the island’s tobacco crop that first supported the settlement. The Warner family estate served as the capital of St. Kitts until 1727 when it was moved to Basseterre. Outside of Old Road Bay, a number of interesting Carib petroglyphs can be found.
