POEMORAMA AT PAPER POETRY

Spring Rain and a Warm Mist Rising

Some free verse

Photo and poem by William J Spirdione

It was a cold spring morning when these rain showers fell at the same time as the sun was burning through the clouds. At the same time? At the same time. Sunrays falling on the wet ground and all of a sudden… a mist. That’s it? A warm mist rising from under the budding apple tree from on top of the shed roof from the newly greening grass thick enough to be quite noticeable in this dappled sunlight on this April day. And now tiny balls of ice bounce and cover the ground.

Written in response to Paper Poetry’s Poemorama

a free verse poem by Angelina Der Arakelian. Can you hear her?

Senryu reflections by Gary L Ellis, finding peace.
