Spring in Australia is Boring So I Head to Autumn in the Northern Hemisphere Whenever I Can

Ishika wants us to share our best experience in spring and what it taught you.

This one’s a difficult one for me to write. Spring is never a happy time for me if I stay in Australia. Many bad experiences for me happen during this time — mostly in September. There are too many horrible things that have happened to me and most of them just happen to be in September. Is that weird? I’ve only just realised this when I was trying to think of my best experience in Spring and can’t think of a single thing apart from the fact that each time I’ve ventured to the northern Hemisphere, it’s usually spring here so it’s autumn there. Am I completely confusing you?

Let me try to make it simpler. My best experience in Spring in Australia is that I’m not here — I’m travelling — in autumn — in the Northern Hemisphere. And those travels are filled with so many wonderful exciting experiences I couldn’t possible choose the best one.

So what did it teach me? If I want something enough and can plan for it, don’t procrastinate and put it off until the next year. Don’t take any notice of the naysayers. Just be determined and do it!
