Hi familia,

It’s Spooktober o’clock!🎃

October is believed to be the perfect month for manifestation, for cleansing and purification, as well as for turning negative energies into positive ones! Use this opportunity to balance your body, mind and soul and tap into your spiritual warrior role!

First, I wish to thank everyone who completed our survey (except for the trolls), as your answers revealed useful information about the direction in which this publication should be going. Your likes and dislikes, your advice, your goals & desires — it’s all been noted.

From now on, you will be able to access our latest updates on prompts, challenges, podcast, interviews, reading club and weekly writing tips on our Ko-Fi page here. Our feed will be filled with useful information and giveaways, exciting projects and collabs! So please do make sure you follow us:

Speaking of which, I want to announce our upcoming collaboration prompts for November and invite you to comment “I’m in” if you wish to participate. We need 8 participants who will collaborate on the “opposing views challenge.” Please make sure you have your private messages open or join our KTHT Slack group so I can give you all the details.

The opposing views are as follows:

  • Death is merely a change in form vs. Death is the final ending
  • Our thoughts create reality vs. Reality is facts, thoughts are fantasy
  • Love can change the world vs. A false belief in love can destroy the world
  • Suffering is a great teacher for enlightenment vs. Suffering is unnecessary and only serves the purposes of the negative forces

Participants will collaborate in pairs and will submit their articles until Oct 25th the latest. Their articles will be featured on the pub’s feed for an entire week, as well as on our Ko-Fi feed. Again, if you wish to participate, leave a comment to this article and I’ll send you all the details!

Now, for our Spooktober prompts, I’m excited to announce that the self reflection questions are back. We’re doing a mixture of lighthearted prompts & deep stuff. Things will get spooky and fun! 👻

Bring your hot & spicy latte, get cozy and start writing:

Monday: Ghostly silhouettes

Tuesday: If death was my lover…

Wednesday: Which behavior that I know has negative effects do I repeat over and over again?

Thursday: When and how do I question myself in relationships?

Friday: What is right is often forgotten by what is convenient

The last one is a quote by Bodie Thoene and it’s by far one of my favorites. I have a lot of experiences that reinforce how true this quote is. Maybe I’ll write a story about them… Or more.

That’s it folks! Hope you enjoy the prompts. I wouldn’t worry about deadlines too much, as your submissions will be accepted any day, anytime. Meanwhile, don’t forget to soak up more vitamin C and celebrate your small wins!

Happy Spooktober!
