KTHT Weekly Prompts for the Week of May 30–June 3

Hello Spiritual Seekers! It has been a while since we’ve had a set of random spiritual prompts. However, with so much going on in the world today that feels so negative, I thought now would be a great time to do some deep diving into the positive, randomly.

I don’t know about you, but my news feeds seem to be filled with the bolstering of so-called ‘strong men’, mass shootings, devastating wars, and the stripping away of human rights. It feels like the world has lost its collective mind. All of this negativity can take a toll on sensitive, empathic, spiritually-minded members of society. If we are not careful, we can sink to the bottom of that deep negative lake and get stuck in the sedimentary mire below the surface. This can have ravaging effects on our physical, mental, and spiritual health.

For just one week, I figured we could focus on more positive aspects of life and living. And hopefully these prompts will allow you to do just that. Remember to dive deep this week. Give these prompts some serious thought and allow your answers to reflect that. So let’s get on with the prompting, shall we?

Prompts for the week:

  1. Share how you ground yourself in whatever manner suits your own spiritual path.
  2. Where is your happy place? Literally? Figuratively? Describe it in detail.
  3. What is one positive change you have created or are creating in your life? What led up to you making this change? How has it helped you spiritually?
  4. How do you share positivity with others? Words? Deeds?

And for the bonus prompt this week — Share a quote from your favorite positive source (a book, a spiritual leader, an affirmation, or other) and explain how that quote helps you to remain positive.

Remember, there is no right or wrong way to use these prompts. Feel free to write poetry or an essay. The intention is merely to look at ourselves and reflect through writing.

There will be more prompts coming soon. Please remember to tag one or all of the editors when you use one of these prompts. We are Diana C., Spyder, jules, or me, Ravyne Hawke.

Stay blessed, my friends.
