Spiritual Journeys. Which Way is Right?

All of Them Are Right

What is the most important thing to have as you begin your spiritual journey?

Faith in yourself. I think that is the most important thing to have at the start of any journey.

I would tell you that you are already on your spiritual journey and have been for many years. So, that should be no surprise. What I would guess is that now you are aware that you might be at the beginning of a spiritual journey is really just you realizing that you are on one. The next idea, I would guess, is that you are actually at a fork in the road on your spiritual journey.

Yes, you have a decision to make. Which way do you go?

I would say there is no one right way or wrong way. Just go. Go towards what smells better. Sweet or savory. It’s up to you. The clues that come your way are the breadcrumbs left by others who were following their own spiritual paths.

Something catches your attention.

It’s as simple as that.

You are on your way.

Yes, but you say, “Is it the right way? What if I spend the next five years of my life following these teachings only to discover there is something else that is better? Why don’t I follow that other way first? What if I was wrong?”

I would ask you, which way presented itself first? Follow that one. Follow it until another way comes to you with another breadcrumb. As far as thinking one of the paths presented to you is wrong, that is just not true. All ways are right.

You ask, “But didn’t I just waste my time?”

I say, no, you did not, nor have you ever wasted your time. Whether it is a spiritual journey or some other sort of journey, nothing you learned along the way was wasted. In fact, if you think of each of the spots you investigated along the way as puzzle pieces, you will eventually have enough of them to begin to make sense of your life. Fit the puzzle pieces together, and gradually, through the years, eventually, you get a glimpse of what the picture is.

It sounds sort of simplistic.

Yet, it is the way of the journey.

Thank you for reading. The above piece was a bit of my guide, Seth, channeling this morning. It started out as an idea I had and made way for Seth. In any case, I hope you got something out of it. I can tell you I spent many years on my own spiritual journey, wondering where I was going. I guess trust and faith that whatever you chose for yourself was right. Clap, comment, follow or subscribe. And, again, thanks.
