Update (July 3, 2023): Dear readers, it is with great sadness that I inform you of the passing of Isabelle Goutines. Isabelle passed away peacefully on July 2nd, 2023. I’m now dedicating this interview as a loving tribute to her loving kindness and beautiful brilliance.

In 2011, Isabelle received a minor surgical intervention under general anesthetic, from which she was meant to recover rapidly as she was in good health. However, she lost the ability to walk for several months and couldn’t find any solutions through conventional medicine.

Desperate to find a way out, she opened up to energy healing despite her initial skepticism. The healing sessions helped her recover fully!

This inspired her so much that she decided to train intensively in energy medicine and devote herself to healing work.

Isabelle graduated with distinction on a two-year intensive accredited spiritual healing course taught by Sue Allen from the School of Intuition and Healing in London.

She also continued training in several modalities and worked as a certified Hypnotherapist and Transformational Regression Therapist.

We had a lovely long chat via a Zoom meeting in early August. It was a sunny afternoon for her in London while past my kids' bedtime in Singapore.

I am so amazed by how she described this turning point in her life, dove deep into the world of spiritual healing, and continues to facilitate profound healing for her clients and loved ones.

Isabelle has some fascinating aspects in her chart that we have included in our discussion too.

A brief analysis of Isabelle’s Human Design chart

Here is her chart shown below:

She is an emotional Manifesting Generator with lots of energy to devote to her work and family.

In our interview, I focused on asking her more about how she lives her Profile and emotional rhythms. Here are some brief descriptions:

Profile 1/3

The Human Design Profile type is like an invisible costume that we wear throughout our lives that determines how we behave, learn, and relate to others. You can read more about the significance of understanding your Profile type in this introductory article.

Isabelle’s Profile type is 1/3. This tells me that she is very driven to research and build a deep foundation of knowledge on things that inspire her to learn more. She also tends to bump into different people and experiences that inspire her to refine her research.

People who have Profile 1/3 can serve as precious resources in our lives.

This 1/3 Profile in her might have inspired her to dive deep into spiritual healing after witnessing how it helped her recover fully from a sudden health crisis.

Emotional wave

Isabelle has a defined Emotional Solar Plexus center, which indicates that she has a consistent emotional rhythm of high moods and low moods.

She only has one defined channel in this center — 39/55.

People with this defined channel experience very high and very low moods. They have regular times when they can suddenly feel ecstatic, and they have times when they feel very melancholic.

I was curious to know how she copes with these extreme emotional fluctuations.

Do read on to learn from Isabelle’s life journey and gifts.

Here are the key highlights of our interview:

Can you tell us more about your work?

I was trained in spiritual healing and, more recently, in the Akashic records. Using the Akashic records is more precise and helps me dive deeper into my clients' healing process.

I used to meet my clients in my home office before the lockdown, and since the lockdown, I have been working online with clients from all over the world via email and Zoom sessions. I would tune into my client’s energetic field and do whatever is for his/her highest good.

It’s a bit of a mystery how people find me — sometimes it’s through a referral or the schools I’m accredited with, but they do, even with minimal marketing. I trust that the right people I can help will find me somehow.

My clients have found the distance healing experience to be very profound. Some even said that they had felt it a lot more powerful than an in-person session. Some people notice specific improvements, such as having pain in the liver disappear. Others find it quite hard to explain, but they know for sure that something positive has shifted.

When I do hypnosis and past-life regression work, I do it over an online Zoom session to interact with my clients in real-time. Working with a client through hypnosis or Transformational Regression Therapy is a much more proactive way to heal. A session can last as long as three hours, and during the session, I will lead my client through a deep trance state to access the root cause of the problem, feel through the emotions that have arisen, and access the answers to his/her questions.

Here’s a short video clip of her describing what can happen in such a deep session:

I offer various healing modalities, so it depends on what my clients want to do, where they are within themselves, what they want, and how ready they are to work on their goals.

Can you share more about how spiritual healing saved you from your health crisis?

Isabelle received a minor surgical intervention under general anesthetic from which she was meant to recover rapidly as she was in good health. However, she lost the ability to walk for several months and couldn’t find any solutions through conventional medicine.

Here is a short clip where Isabelle described this bizarre and transformational episode in her life:

Here’s a brief description of what she shared in the interview:

When I woke up from the surgery, I was bloated from the waist down. The bloating eventually came down only after a week, but I could only walk from my bed to the bathroom at home for three months, but I could not walk down the stairs. I even had to attend a family member’s wedding in a wheelchair.

It was a bizarre feeling to be seated in a wheelchair. Before the operation, I was living a very active lifestyle. I would do a lot of jogging, swimming, and yoga.

For those three and a half months, I couldn’t bring my kids to school. I had to rest at home. I was about 5% of my original physical function from my waist down and 20% from my waist up. The doctors couldn’t figure out what went wrong, and I was so afraid that I would be paralyzed if this continued.

My main goal was to be back on my feet again and bring my children to school. So I went searching for alternative solutions. A friend bumped into me and told me about a clinic that did spiritual healing. Even though I was skeptical about it, I was so desperate that I just went ahead and gave it a go.

That was my turning point.

The healers I met there were not airy-fairy the way I was afraid they would be. They were very professional, grounded, and had this inner knowing in their eyes that gave me hope.

I only went there twice, about a month apart. But that’s when I started to recover and reverse that downward curve. It took me six months to be able to walk normally without any pain.

I couldn’t forget this solidity and inner knowing that I saw in those healers’ eyes. They seem to know exactly where they are in life and they seem to know themselves so well.

So after my recovery, I enrolled with the School of Intuition and Healing, which founded that clinic and embarked on this new journey.

I devoted the next eight years of my life to studying spiritual healing, intuitive and psychic development, Akashic records connection, hypnosis, and Transformational Regression Therapy. My last course ended in December 2019.

Everything is like a bit of the puzzle of everything else. The first two years of intensive study were the biggest piece of that puzzle, but it wouldn’t be the same without everything else. Now I see the bigger picture with all this training.

Bingz: Wow, eight years of training! That sounds really intensive! And before all that, you were totally skeptical of energy and spiritual healing?

Yes, I would have never believed in it. But nothing else worked, and that was what worked for me.

Bingz: From the perspective of your Human Design Profile 1/3, it feels like recovering from this health crisis through spiritual healing led you to research deeply and form a solid foundation in spiritual healing, hypnosis, and transformational regression therapy.

It’s so inspiring that you are fully devoted to serving others as a Spiritual Healer and Transformational Regression Therapist because of your personal transformation!

How do you practice Gentleness on yourself through your intense emotional fluctuations?

Note by Bingz: This is about her emotional wave, as shown in her Human Design chart, where she regularly experiences very high and melancholic moods.

My emotions used to go up and down a lot, and I have been coping with this by going inward. Listening to music and drawing intuitively has helped me gain more self-awareness.

Before I became a Spiritual Healer, I worked as a photographer for the past 25 years. Doing photography has helped me see and navigate the world around me more clearly and manifest what I want to see. I no longer take photos now, but I will write or draw intuitively to get more clarity.

I never realized that I am highly sensitive until I started my intensive training in spiritual healing.

My mother used to tell me that I was very nervous as a child. I perceived my reality energetically, and whatever I sensed turned out to be true. But the grown-ups would laugh it off and say that I had an overactive imagination.

My sensitivity is now a gift and an amazing tool that I have further sharpened through all these years of focused training. It is now a blessing in my life, though it can still be challenging to move through the low moods.

I move through the low moods through writing, or I ask for a healing or regression session from someone. I take this as an opportunity to understand more about what is happening underneath my conscious mind in the subconscious. When I can move through my internal blocks, I can help my clients more.

How do you practice Gentleness in your daily life?

I have been practicing Ashtanga Yoga for over 20 years, and every time I practice, it’s different. I can feel very heavy sometimes and very light during other times. So I will go where I can go, and if a certain pose feels hard to do, I will not force myself to do it. I know that next time I might be able to go a bit deeper if I practice regularly.

I have learned to listen to what my body is saying and stop forcing it, even in other everyday situations.

If I feel uncomfortable in a certain situation or place, I can walk away and feel better. Sometimes I can do many things in one day, and sometimes when I get tired easily, I would rest a bit more or go out for a walk.

Similarly, in my healing practice, I can help my clients go where they want to go in life. But if they face a lot of resistance in facing difficulties they might not be ready to face, then perhaps I am not the right person to help them. There could be someone else who can help them, and things might flow a lot better for them.

My partner always tells me about the power of gentleness through this simple and effective analogy.

You have a blade of grass that grows through the concrete floor. The blade of grass is so strong that it can break through the concrete, but it is so gentle at the same time.

I love this empowering way of looking at life. There is so much resilience in this tiny blade of grass.

Bingz: Yes! A beautiful and meaningful visual reminder of Gentleness!

What kind of Harshness do your clients come to you for processing and releasing?

I see anything that’s holding somebody back can be experienced as Harshness. If someone has pain in her back, physical pain is considered Harshness, and it always moves into the back pain's emotional aspect.

In my experience, we would usually revisit a memory of something that happened earlier, be it earlier in this life, or even in a previous life. Sometimes, it’s also an energy that my client has unknowingly absorbed from someone else and needs to be released.

But there is always an event that has created that physical back pain. The issue need not be physical pain. My client could also be finding difficulty in finding a stable job and paying off debts.

Whatever the problem is, we would inevitably travel back to a past event where this is a certain thought and feeling to unwind.

It isn’t always a straightforward process. Sometimes we need to visit several places before we get to the key event.

This memory from the past is running the show, creating the client’s problem in life. It is the source of Harshness, and the client’s problem is the symptom of Harshness.

Here’s another example. An alcoholic is suffering from a spiral of debt. But why is this person drinking and spending way too much money? Excessive drinking and increasing debt are the symptoms of that Harshness, and there is a need to find the root cause.

Everything is coming from somewhere, so it’s about finding what happened that caused these symptoms or problems to be resolved, and the client feels much more empowered.

Some clients have experienced a complete U-turn in their lives.

Clients who are more proactive experience much greater transformation. But it’s not about forcing yourself to do what you’re not ready to do yet.

This goes back to Gentleness.

It’s also about being gentle with themselves. I can see what they might need to move forward, but they still have to listen to what feels right and go at their pace.

They might have two or three deep healing sessions and need several months to integrate the healing to move onto the next step fully.

It really is about being gentle with themselves and finding the right key to empower them and dissolve what has caused the Harshness.

But the source of Harshness is never what we expect. It’s always a surprise, so I like to tell my clients to expect the unexpected. It might not make sense to them, but often there is a deep resonance within them, a strong emotion that tells them that this is the real truth.
