This is a writing tip for me as much as anyone else. It’s a quick reminder to #WriteWithLight, wherever possible.

Because I figure we are in about chapter 15–16 of Revelations, maybe, 😂and anxiety is high this Armageddon. There’s a lot of pain going around, and sometimes I catch these negative feelings coming out in my articles.

And if those negative feelings are honest, they may be needed depending on the type of article.

But my old writings had a lot of light, and I’d rather make that the staple of my writing work.

So if you’re like me and don’t want the pain of the 2000’s and life in general to overcome your writing, remember to interject a little positivity, cheer, and good feelings, because I think people can use more of that these days.

The news, the internet, and all these other information outlets have doom and gloom covered. We don’t need any more of that.

Also another tip is when addressing people, or a group, try to talk to the Saints, not the Sinners.

Saints are the ideals. For instance, when talking about relationships and men, try to encourage the good men rather than ripping apart the bad ones.

Instead of finding someone you can talk down to, make your focus someone you can actually build up.

Also, for us who also write fiction, it can also mean writing more uplifting, fun stories. That’s something I will work on as I try to write more fiction.

This might encourage the good in people and give heart and hope to those that need it. And it can also help freshen up the psycho-sphere which is feeling pretty dark these days.

It’s going to be a challenge, I know. And getting some moody darkness out may still be necessary,

But this will be a good practice if you want your words to inspire people more than condemn them.

Because honestly, people hear enough negativity. I’m trying to figure out how to shut it all off without completely cancelling my internet plan and going off the grid.

I can’t deal with a house with no plumbing, so I will have to beautify the space between my ears to the best of my ability.

If we can find safety and peace no where else, let’s make sure we can at least go to our own imaginations for repose. And then we can share that joy with others, so they can also get some rest and recharge!
