Why Do People Treat Animals Cruelly? 😿

I thought to allocate few minutes for animals today. It’s all about animal world. I am going to share one of my life experiences with you today.

It’s a sad story that is woven around two little kittens. It just happened before three weeks ago. It was so dark here and it’s about 11p.m. I was working in my room and suddenly I heard the “meow meow” sounds repeatedly. I wanted to go out and see what was happening outside. I opened the door and went towards the street.

So now what?

I saw two little kittens meowing timidly. They were so small. I looked carefully, but no one was there. They were kept in a square shaped box. I haven’t cats in my home. So, I carried them. My great aunt loves cats so much and I thought I will give one kitten for her. They didn’t stop meowing. I realized that they were so hungry, so I immediately fed them with two cups of milk. Amazing, they were drinking it as fast as they can in one breath. I covered them with a soft blanket and kept them in one of the rooms in my home. Then, I went to sleep.

What was happened?

When I got up, I wanted to see whether they are fine. Oh! They weren’t there. I searched every corner of that particular room. Unfortunately, I wasn’t able to see them. I walked in the yard. But no sign. I asked some of my neighbors about them, they told me; “ we also heard meowing last night”. I stepped towards the street. They weren’t . I was so sad. I felt very sorry for them. I just went to the room where I kept them last night. Then, I saw an open window. We forgot to close one of the little windows of the room. So, I contemplated and worried about it. Where did they go? Poor little souls.

They were about one month old, I guessed. I didn’t know exactly about the person who kept them in the street last night. But It’s really disgusting. When I was explaining the incident to my close friends, I felt that my eyes filled with large drops of tears. I wanted to find out the man who kept these innocent souls in the street. I am still searching on it.

This story tells the senseless cruelty that a particular group of people inflict on helpless animals.

It’s not an amazing incident as this sort of incidents happen somewhere everyday in the world. so, it’s better to make people aware about the animal protection. Then, we can even serve one poor life for a day.

What can we do?

Yes, it’s true that owning a pet is a privilege for all. But you should be a responsible pet owner. How do you do it? Select a pet that suited to your residence and lifestyle. Train your pet and socialize them. Providing mental stimulation is also a considerable matter. As a good owner, don’t allow your pet to stray.

Spreading kindness is the most significant issue. We have to grow the beautiful buds of kindness in every heart. Let them to bloom and spread the sweet fragrance of kindness and affection. Animals need your protection as they can survive better with your support. Don’t neglect the stray dogs, cats, and other innocent souls.

“ There is reward for kindness to every living thing”. You can start showing kindness to animals.

Report animal cruelty is another aspect related to this matter. It can be so painful to see someone beating or physically attacking animals. If you witness such suspected cruelties around you, you can just report it to the local animal control agencies. Think a bit. How do you teach your kid to be kind to animals? It’s so important to train your kids to have respect for animals from their earliest days. I know, Some kids are so kind to animals. But their parents didn’t teach them to do so. Teaching compassion for every living being will grow good attitudes in your child’s mind.

We can connect directly to demand laws for protecting animals.

Protection of the animal rights will make a land more beautiful. Give a shelter for an animal in need. Have you ever helped stray animals? Thousands of innocent animals end up in shelters all across the globe. As a respectful person in the society, you can contribute to such good works. Why we should support animals? As we know, they play a significant role in our lives. So, we should help them in every moment. There are many homeless animals and they are seeking for your awareness. You can consider a bit on this matter if you are interested in helping stray animals. Remember, giving help in need is one of the most rewarding acts you can do.

We all know that animal cruelty is real and pervasive. But, the most crucial issue is, it is preventable. It happens to all types of animals in every corner of the world.

“ Every 60 seconds, an animal gets abused”. It’s so painful to hear such facts. The main problem we are facing is, there is not enough people fighting for animal protection. A few groups of people are talking about their rights. Do you know? Some poor animals spend their lives in neglectful circumstances. They are seeking for your protection, support, and affection.

There is not a specific reason behind animal cruelty. But it’s happening all over the world. Look at your pet kindly as he will see and talk to animals gently because they will listen. Remember, all animals deserve an opportunity to live in this world.
