I was traveling with a group in Thailand.

I was waiting for the group as I had moved faster than them whistling & listening to the sounds of nature.

I found a swing & sitting quietly I could hear the sea in the background. It looked calm but it made a sound and started moving fast with gurgling sounds.

Sounds near the sea signal

What was it signaling? A tumultuous sea with dangerous waves and high tide.

I asked the leader if we were waiting for the sea to get calm. “Yes, he said but how do you know?”

“I was listening to the sounds of nature and the sea told me it was going to be rough”, I said.

They could wait no longer and so we boarded the fast boat to go to Phi Phi Island from Phuket.

Sure enough, the rough sea does not agree with me and I was seasick halfway through and kept throwing up.

This too shall pass, I heard and I was well sooner than expected as soon as I reached the island.

Calm and relaxed sounds at Phi Phi Island bring positivity

At Phi Phi island it was a bright, sunny, and beautiful day. I sat in the shade and was deep in thought thinking about the vegetation over there. I was oblivious to the heat as the sounds of nature attracted me to think deeply.

It was calm and quiet and peaceful with words twittering and enjoying the sunshine.

The mosquitoes were kissing my face all over and my hair was flying but nature overpowered me and I felt calm and peaceful.

The sounds of nature sent me a signal to relax and be at peace with my environment.

Thailand has lush green trees and bushes everywhere since it is a tropical country. It never disappoints you with greenery.

Roses inspire me

I am an amateur photographer but carry my phone everywhere to take pictures of the beautiful natural environment.

When I saw a whole bush of roses, I sat close to it and the breeze was softly moving and rustling through the bushes. It was hot but the roses were smiling. I did not mind the heat.

The sounds of the bush and the roses were speaking to me in a secret language. They were happy I was admiring them and I was quite meditative and in deep thought.

I thought through how to do the garden creatively back home. I am engaged with the community garden and I do get ideas though conditions are quite different in each country for plants to thrive.

I was so deep into the sounds of nature that I did not hear the sound of a human being, the travel leader telling us that lunch was ready and it was time to wind up with nature and move toward the lunch room or we would get late to go to the next location.

This happens to me in our own community garden. I go there to supervise the gardeners and begin to listen and play with the squirrels, butterflies, and birds whatever I can see or hear. This is how I get affected by the sounds of nature.

Eucalyptus Trees and spiritual messages of wellness

Finally, I know I am moving from Thailand to Berkeley but I have to mention that the Eucalyptus trees outside my window where I lived in my son’s home often overpowered my senses.

It had a strong perfumed air that blew all over the house. I would just be quiet listening to what the trees said. They would sometimes whisper and sometimes be loud moving from the breeze to the wind.

Each of these was a signal from the skies. A spiritual feeling that the Almighty cares for you and blesses you with glorious things in your life.A signal of inspiration and direction and a ray of hope in your life.

The takeaways

  • 🎈Listen to the sounds of nature, soon you will begin to understand their signal of joy and positivity. Believe in the universe and the Almighty and some good will happen
  • 🎈Don’t be in a hurry when in nature and the sounds will begin to whisper to you and mesmerize you. The spiritual signals will transmit joy if we are in gratitude.
  • 🎈Sounds of nature should be focussed upon to enjoy them. A friend of mine walked with me and when I asked her did you hear the sounds of nature she said she only heard crows. I could hear different types of birds from guttural sounds to sweet songs. When she began to focus she heard the spiritual signals.

Closing words

Nature is beautiful. It inspires you to think creatively. It gives you joy. The choice of listening or not listening to the sounds and getting spiritual signals is there. You have to decide whether you want to take them to have a joyful life.

My choice is to connect with nature and live a joyful life with positivity.

I loved the following quote:

“The goal of life is to make your heartbeat match the beat of the universe, to match your nature with Nature.” — Joseph Campbell,

My suggestion is: Listen to the sounds of nature and live your life happily by being in gratitude for all the wonderful things we have in life. We are better than so many other people. Think positively Always.
