Memories from the Soul

Part 1 — Soul Memories / Part 2 — The Joy of the Soul

Part 1 — Soul Memories . . . real and powerful

I once gave my life to a place — to an organization — that meant everything to me!

I have pictures of that place — beautiful pictures — sitting in front of where I write.

For several years I could look at those pictures and feel only joy . . . joy at what had been!

Today, as I began to write, I looked at those same pictures and suddenly felt great sad pain.

‘What brought on this change?’ I could not help but wonder, for outwardly nothing had changed

but something within me had obviously made a real change . . . a change of great impact!

Did the soul memories at the cellular level of my being finally decide it was the right time

. . . the time of true readiness to face the reality of the sadness deeply hidden within my mind…

safely buried in the depths of the mind’s deep subconscious… totally unknown and unbidden?

Is it finally time for me to ‘face the shadow on the hearth’ and recognize this reality of the past?

Am I now ready to acknowledge, embrace, and then release this subconscious reality of truth?

The soul always knows what we cannot know in the illusory reality of our present consciousness of life

but it has the wisdom to share its knowledge through soul memories with those who are READY TO KNOW.

Part 2 — The Joy of the Soul

It is good to have memories that bring feelings of joy — that is indeed most important!

But when that joyful time has ended in a painful experience . . . a pain one does not wish to acknowledge or realistically face

it is important to realize that at some time in our life that pain will surface from its hidden depth

and at that time we can no longer hide from its unwelcome presence as we have always done in the past.

The subconscious has a far greater influence on the totality of our life than we can ever begin to imagine

— so that is why ‘facing the shadow on the hearth’ and releasing it is so necessary for the fulfillment of life

. . . and for the true joy of the soul!
