Soul Magazine is a sanctuary for authentic self-expression and collective growth. Our publication is a significant source for inspiring life stories and transformative lessons. We are home to poetic thoughts, thought-provoking stories, and stories about vulnerability and raw emotion. At Soul Magazine, we aim to create a nurturing environment where writers can thrive.
We invite our contributors to delve into the following areas:
Mind: Topics include cognitive abilities, self-awareness, mindfulness, and personal development.
Body: Your interests include physical health, wellness, and eating.
Soul: Includes meditative practices, spiritual beliefs, rituals, and spiritual rebirth.
Relationships: Explore interpersonal family relationships, parenting styles, and family emotional support.
Work: Focus on management competencies in the workplace, corporate strategy, and personal development.
Community: Explore relationship dynamics, social interaction, and civic responsibility.
Submission Guidelines
- Comply with Medium’s Terms of Service and Rules.
- Follow the publication.
- Use the tag “Soul Magazine” for your submission.
- Turn on Private Messages so our editors can leave you a note, if necessary.
- Properly CREDIT ALL images.
- Cite ALL SOURCES.
- All submissions must include a unique featured image right BELOW the title and subtitle. Stories containing an overabundance of images will be rejected or have pictures removed without notice. Images should enhance the story, not distract from it.
- Original, non-spam writing only.
- Titles must be written in the title case. Subtitles must be written in sentence case.
- Submissions with a link in the title or subtitle, written in all capital letters, or containing profanity of any kind are rejected.
- We encourage additional tags, such as MIND, BODY, SPIRIT, etc.
- Topics NOT ACCEPTED: politics, religion, personal attacks, and graphic or violent content. Submissions must be family-friendly. We reserve the right to reject offensive or inappropriate articles.
- We only accept unpublished Drafts.
- NOT ACCEPTED Listicles of any kind.
- We do not accept solely AI-generated text. A.I. detection tools will be used to check articles.
- Kindly use Grammarly before submitting items.
- Use Medium’s paywall. It allows writers to receive compensation through Medium’s Partner Program. The Medium Partner Program is the only form of payment offered to writers of Soul Magazine.
- Clickbait-free. Titles and subtitles must not be anything considered clickbait. This includes any title that withholds context, over-promises, exploits, is overly hyperbolic, misleads, or relies on gimmicks. Clickbaity titles and subtitles may be changed, or the submission may be rejected.
- Tagging other Medium members is only acceptable when the reference is relevant.
- Call to Action using section headings or quote formatting of any kind will be removed.
- Submissions containing improperly written paragraphs and overusing one- or two-sentence paragraphs are rejected.
