Success is a matter of personal opinion. Although success is often equated to having a lot of money and possibly being very wealthy, people who have little money can feel successful in their lives if they are happy. Some extremely wealthy people who seem successful are not happy so they are not successful in areas of life which may be more important than money.
Most people who are leaders within their communities, cities, states, or the nation are successful in their own right. They are usually well educated and learning continually. They study and work hard. They are willing to listen to others and to accept advice. Those who are elected to political offices have shown that they can be successful leaders. Some continue serving for years, but others are quickly defeated in subsequent elections. It is a major achievement to be elected, and it should generally be respected.
The people who have the most severe criticism of elected leaders are those who have never held an elective office and never will. Many of the people in the masses of civilization are quick to criticize, but they would never put themselves out there to even try to win a political office to serve the public.
The leaders who serve in political offices are of many types. They belong to one of the two major political parties or may be independent or belong to a lesser known party. They are people who are willing to take the heat and put themselves out there in order to try and make the world a better place. It is not an easy task and not an easy position in which to be.
The CEO’s of major corporations and large companies have a propensity for hard work and dedication. They are able to devote themselves to the tasks at hand. They lead the way for others to follow and help others to succeed in their work. They mostly care about other people and are trying to help. They are often wealthy and may share what they have through foundations and charities or individual donations.
In review, people who are successful leaders generally care about helping and serving others. They work hard and are dedicated to good causes. They are willing to take criticism in order to serve. They are usually well educated and are continually learning. They are able to work with and as a team. They listen to other people. They share what they have and are willing to give back. They are happy in their work and life in general. They care.
Success can come to anyone who is willing to work hard and be dedicated to good causes. Success does mean different things to different people, but it generally means being happy with life.
