Some of My Best Writing Happens In The Gym

Endorphins fuel inspiration

It’s true. Endorphins do inspire the mind.

I’m a gym junkie, and I’ve been faithful to the gym ever since 2007. I’ve noticed that some of my best writing happens between my exercise sets. My gym buddy — a professional bodybuilder — gets frustrated when I pull out my phone to read an article or write, but I have to take advantage of inspiration as it comes and when it comes!

When I work out, I feel more creative, my ideas flow more naturally, I sound more eloquent, and my writing skills are elevated. I’m no master at writing, but I can tell when my writing sucks, more or less.

When do you experience your best ideas? What activities elevate your creativity?
