Sky Collection is now open to submissions and new writers! Please be advised that I am only accepting responses to Sky Collection prompts. Please see the prompt tab for more info!

If you would like to become a writer here, please email me a draft of your work at [email protected].

You may write in response to any of the prompts at any time. We welcome poetry, fiction, nonfiction, and all sub-genres! Be creative, tell your story, and follow the Medium guidelines to be compliant.

Content

We do publish pieces about hard topics. We do not tolerate hate in any of its ugly forms. We do publish work that is spiritual, but we do not publish work that is intended to preach a particular religion. We do NOT publish work generated by artificial intelligence. Please write with integrity. We do publish stories from living human beings: flesh, blood, heart, mind, memory, backstory, regret, hope, shame, vulnerability, love, anxiety, and experience.

Each story must be tagged with the appropriate genre: Poetry, Fiction, or Nonfiction so it will populate our tagged pages. Please also use the tag Writing Prompt. The other three are up to you. Be sure to mention the author of the prompt and link back to the original prompt at the bottom of your work. Then more people will know about it and the inspiration spreads!

Please be patient.

If your piece needs work in order for it to be ready for publication, I will leave you a private message. Please check and respond. My goal is to publish within 48 hours of submission. If I return your piece to you, you will always receive a reason why in a private message. Please do not inquire about when your work will be published.
