It isn’t that hard to find ways to show kindness and love to others.
When posts about kindness stories show up on a Facebook feed, it is because people want to share the goodness that exists in the world. They want others to share the stories so that people will feel good about how the world is going.
There is so much negativity and hate in the world which is displayed in daily life and reported regularly by the news media.
It is good to hear about stories of good people being kind to others.
There are many similar stories shared on social media about people being kind. Good people are out there doing good deeds for others.
A young man working at McDonald’s helped a frustrated mother who had gone through the drive-thru and then discovered that she did not have her purse with her. He took out his debit card and paid for her order. She came back later to pay. He was reluctant to take her money because he was showing a kindness.
A man noticed a young homeless girl begging for money. He took her inside a restaurant to give her food. He got her to agree to call her parents. She did not think they would want her to come home, but they did. He paid for a bus ticket for her and gave her money to make her way back to her family.
A woman wanted to help the homeless so she went to a nearby Burger King and purchased five hamburger meals. She took them to some homeless people and treated them to lunch.
There is a lot of pain and suffering in this world. There is too much hate, contention, and violence. There are also many good people showing kindness to complete strangers on a daily basis.
We should look for the good in people and in this world and try to do our part to make the world a better place. THANK YOU to all the kind people out there.
