These socks were made for sleeping

“Do you know where my comfy socks are hiding?” I called out to my husbeast.

He didn’t know. But bless his little cotton socks, he tried to help without success. Then he offered me a pair of his thick hiking socks.

“These will keep you toasty,” he said.

The hiking socks did indeed look warm, but they also looked more coarse and serviceable than fluffy. Keeping warm wasn’t the issue. It was about comfort. About the feel of the soft, fuzzy fluff.
