SOCRATES & BIODIVERSITY — 9 of 10:
Can he help us make this world a better world for Animal Beings — & Human Beings!
Ecological quest to save the world!

In today’s world — how can Human Beings align with Mother Nature?

What is the message The Adventures of Anuk: the first leap shares with Human Beings — that we can apply to help make this world a better place for Animal Beings — for ALL LIVING BEINGS?

Ecological journey of a young girl on quest to save the world!
This tale reaches deep into Socrates Philosophy. Babirusa — the grand philosopher in the story — illustrates the fundamental nature of knowledge, reality, and existence on the Orb — the coexistence of Human Beings with Animal Beings.

In The Adventures of Anuk, Anuk’s happy childhood in the Inn with her guardians, Julea and Lucca meets with contrast on her sixteenth birthday. Your life in contrast — — How is contrast in your life showing you what’s possible for you to act in a sustainable manner to help make this world a better place for Animal Beings? She discovers that she has to return to her place of birth, Roese Island. Anuk is not pleased, but she is told it is her destiny that, as an Assisi Human, she must return to maintain harmony between the Animal Kingdom and Human Beings. ‘To her place of birth’ — — this implies her habitat still exist. Wildlife conservation requires protecting and maintaining wild landscapes — the habitats in which Animal Beings call ‘home’. Without sustainable landscape management — — what do we have? Artificial homes such as sanctuaries help to a point, and zoo — do not — Animal Beings do no belong in cages — — no matter how well you decorate them. Anuk’s treacherous journey with Aye, Eagle Owl, and Kinkajou, travel through many beautiful places and many which are not what they seem. Many lands have been destroyed and they are no longer as beautiful as they once were. Do you recall places you have seen as a child — you enjoyed it so much. You played in the forest or other natural settings — — and now as an adult these beautiful places have been taken over by Malls, Parking lots, and other mega structures. Are they necessary? Could there have been alternative measure to meet the needs to Human Beings in your town? Along the way she meets numerous creatures, including The Bogeyman, who impart to Anuk their stories and words of wisdom as she continues her journey home. Did you encounter the Bogeyman and other storytellers on your childhood journey, and it is only now as you get older — — you understand the meaning of the message in the story? We — — Human Beings — — may come to understand the messages many people/scientist/philosophers etc are teaching us about how we can make changes to day — — sustainable changes to help make this world a better world for All Beings — — but will we come to understand the message when it’s too late? Anuk has to find the courage to face her deepest fears to make it back to Roese Island. But what will face her when and if she arrives? What do you face every day when you decide to take courage acts to make this world a better world for All Beings?
EXCERPT FROM THE ADVENTURES OF ANUK: THE FIRST LEAP
*Anuk wondered if she could apply the same use of reason as the Rames to find a solution to her immediate problem, which struck a chord with traditional belief amongst the Babirusa followers and non-followers. The Rames used of reason opened up a new look at the purpose of the Human experience and examination of life; an approach easily adapted by Babirusa. It was no longer the stories that Humans told themselves for thousands of years conditioning them how to make sense of their world, but rational debate, systematic thought, as did other great teachers and philosophers. Babirusa and her contemporary’s quantum leap embraced the potential of the mind to illustrate the diverged world of Humans and Beings, through a daring inquest of the murky waters of what is knowledge.
“Human Being coexistence with Animal Being will be the Humans’ greatest victory.” ~Suzanne Mondoux
