Societal Benefits of Vaccine Refusal
Complete fools and the merely-foolish are dropping like flies
Fools and the foolish — already dropping like flies — need to check this shit out, especially since that’s what flies do … check out shit.
I’ll explain.
Fools
All evidence to the contrary, the ratio of the US population who will not, under any circumstances, get vaxxed, has remained at a steady one in seven Americans. These folks, for whatever pin-headed reasons they have, are the unreachable, those who cannot be convinced to take the jab.
They are the fools, and I won’t go into why that is the case. If you’re a fool you’re already foaming at the mouth and bubbling over with incoherent rage, your mind fogged with thoughts of the assault you’re planning, so you won’t get it.
If you’re not in the fool group, especially if you’re already fully vaxxed, as you should be, you get it.
The fools will continue to sicken and die disproportionately, since as every school-aged child knows, we now have a pandemic of the unvaxxed.
But, there’s an additional ray of sunshine in all this, two in fact.
#1 — 69% of the fool group is white, and
#2 — 58% of the fool group is Republican.
Now, of course, not all the fools will die. A fair percentage will get sick, recover, and develop long-COVID which will plague society for years, if not decades, but there will be two big benefits in the short term.
#1 — Fewer white people will be around to oppress POC, and
#2 — Fewer Republicans will be around to oppress our society with their asinine political agenda.
That’s a win-win situation.
The downside of course, is that the fools will prolong the pandemic and cause massive death and illness in a sizable percentage of the non-fool population. They’ll continue to wreak havoc on the overburdened healthcare system and its burned out workers. They’ll produce all sorts of other societal distortions, political, economic and otherwise. They’ll still be around to wheeze and limp their bad selves about the landscape towing their bad hearts, heads and kidneys about, albeit in a weakened condition, and non-fools will still have to contend with their fool-like ways.
All in all though, it does seem like a worthwhile trade off.
Then there’s the foolish
Not fully fools, and thankfully their numbers are shrinking.
This is the “wait and see” crowd. It’s unclear what they’re waiting for, but that’s a discussion for another day.
Thankfully though, as the article above demonstrates, their numbers have been steadily falling, from a high of 39% in December, 2020 to just 10% of the US population in June of 2021.
53% of the merely-foolish crowd is white and 45% are Republican. So the benefit to society of them dropping like flies is less, but still pretty robust. One could even argue that we should abandon all efforts to convince them to do anything reasonable — like getting vaxxed — and simply watch and hope.
They’ll also add to the incredible burden and societal distortions described above, but what the heck, we’ll just have to suck it up.
