Social Media prevents us from living our lives to the fullest

I speak from experience when I say that we can enjoy life without social media

I’ve been thinking a lot about this lately.

I don’t have Facebook or Instagram, I just have Pinterest and tik tok, however I don’t consider Medium to be a social network.

Tik tok can take up a lot of time that I could be using to do other kinds of things. For example, reading a good chapter in a book, or writing more articles here on Medium.

From experience, I’m trying to put tik tok behind me and focus on what really matters, especially when I have other interesting things to do.

Read here on the platform, read a physical book, write more articles and even play the Sims as strange as this may seem.

When I start to wander on social networks, it’s an addiction that I intend to leave little by little until the end of this year and I’m very committed to doing it.

I know social media can be really cool but it actually takes up a lot of my precious time!
