Social Media is Infiltrated to Work Against Burkina Faso & Mali
Access to Facebook & Twitter should be suspended

I know suspending media outlets usage sounds very authoritarian in theory. Yet any American that lived through 9/11 knows that cellphones for millions were useless paperweights. Many were unable to get service to make all important calls, people now know if shit meets the fan cellular phones might become useless.
Ouagadougou & Bamako (these are the capital cities of Burkina and Mali) should collectively file law suits the way western nations does against big business social media platforms. Why? Because these platforms have been knowingly allowing infiltration of their platforms allowing countries to set-up accounts that are obviously fake.
The accounts are fake and spreading the worst misinformation that is inflicting harm on the safety of millions of people along the Sahel region of West Africa.
There are several groups that monitor and write about conflict resolution in African nations. Almost as if their entertained by the suffering, when you look deeper they report on world conflicts. Though many refuse to report on conflicts brewing within the United States of America which is odd to excuse one nation with so much internal conflicts.
These conflict monitoring groups or sites have noted the uptake in mentions of pro-Russia influence in African nations. Also I’ve personally noticed how many France based Twitter accounts post daily concerning Mali and Burkina Faso.
Not only do these accounts insult and demean the juntas of Colonel Assimi Goïta & Captain Ibrahim Traorè. Junta simply means military rule which took control by force, millions in Mali & Burkina call them president. These accounts create confusion among the citizens by spreading false information, hence why many waved Russie (Russian flags)
Despite the fact that the Wagner Group hasn’t made any significant dent on beating the terrorism which has infiltrated the Sahel and is heavy in Niger, Burkina and Mali.
Russia deepens its influence in West Africa
At the end of September, Burkina Faso experienced its second coup of the year. A military putsch in the West African nation brought down the prevailing junta and made 34-year-old Capt. Ibrahim Traoré the youngest national leader in all of Africa. The coup, largely bloodless, was denounced by the African Union, and E.U. and U.S. officials. But cheers came from a conspicuous corner of the world.
In a message posted via the Telegram app, Yevgeniy Prigozhin, a Russian oligarch close to President Vladimir Putin’s inner circle and head of the Wagner Group, a shadowy mercenary company that Western experts view as a Kremlin proxy, said Traoré’s power grab “was necessary.” He described the previously little-known captain as “a truly worthy and courageous son of his motherland” and cast the grave security troubles wracking the West African nation as part of France’s imperial legacy.
Now if you actually follow the news media and the messages and media within Burkina Faso you’d know these things:
The junta of Paul-Henri Sandaogo Damiba needlessly raided the funds of Burkina Faso. He lacked strategy to remove, fight, mobilize troops to remove the terrorist militias within Burkina. Damba did what the former president of Burkina Faso did he sat in the seat of safety within Ouagadougou. While a large percentage of his country (Burkina Faso) remained under the grip of terrorism.
Once Traorè took control and put into place government officials they all voted to have their salaries placed back where they were after Damiba gave himself and others outlandish pay raises. Traorè takes no government salary. Just 24 hours ago all government officials have chosen to give up another 5% of their salary to fund the budget of Burkina.
Yet Russia continues to block social media platforms in Russia, knowing that these sites are a source of not only information but false information.
Under Roch Marc Christian Kaboré who was deposed by the junta of Paul-Henri Sandaogo Damiba. You can see from the above tweet the situation facing the Burkinabè citizens. What would you want to take place within your country if it was being overrun by terrorism?
Facebook, Twitter and every social media site that is allowing countries to infiltrate their platforms should be held accountable. These platforms should be suspended for allowing harmful fake information used to disrupt the sovereign peace of nations.
Russia and France should be investigated behind these accounts, yet everyone knows this will never happen. Meanwhile news spreads to make Burkina Faso and Mali appear to be dangerous African nations while the citizens aren’t this way at all.
