Social Distancing

Carry’s on in the bedroom too this pandemic.

No talks, no cuddles,

long distance relationship…

just three feet apart.

This morning while scrolling through my watsapp I saw someone’s status “Long Distance Relationship”.

My scrolling stopped and I thought how is that possible when I spoke to them just two days ago and they were very much in town?

I set my curiosity ball rolling and then recollecting all old-time memories with them, my thoughts rekindled.

Thinking and imagining the distance between them, I came up with this Haiku.
