So when he gets mad!
His kitty calms his tantrum!

A temper tantrum.
Oliver is two years old. At times, he gets frustrated with various toddler issues.
He cries, screams, stomps, throws himself on the floor, flails his arms & legs, and refuses snacks, toys, or cuddles from his Mom.
It is simply pitiful!
After about fifteen minutes, he is tired but still sobbing; he finds his kitty, Nug, resting in his favorite chair.
Now I have seen it! The toddler takes off his shirt & lies on top of the cat! (see image)
Wow! instant peace! The boy is still sniffing but calm & snuggles with his kitty.
So I ask his Mom, "What hormone does this cat have that we lack?"
We smile at each other because we are both dumbfounded!
Yes, no one knows, but we accept that Nug, the kitty, is here to stay to save our sanity!
We watch quietly. After a few minutes of calmness, Oliver’s Mama picks him up & cuddles with her son, talking in a soothing soft voice. She gives him sips of water. He drinks & heaves, exhausted from his recent tantrum.
Less than five minutes later, I witnessed this beautiful scene of a devoted mother & her young son.
Oliver sleeps, snuggled in the comfort of his mama’s arms & lap, where his heaven comes together, and the angry world no longer exists for now.
When God created a mother, the Almighty planned it so exceptionally well!
