So what now?

I want to take my writing further

I love writing on medium.

That isn't going to change anywhere soon.

With that said I can't help wondering if I can take my writing further.

I have toyed with other platforms but they weren't user-friendly or I couldn't grasp their sites.

I am not particularly tech-savvy so if a website proves too difficult to navigate I quickly become frustrated and will probably give up after spinning my wheels for so long.

I researched Substack and quickly learned that I had no idea what was going on.

I didn't understand the concept of newsletters so I didn't dive deep into that at all

I signed up for News Break but writing nothing but facts seemed rather dull and dry so I've yet to write an article for them.

I have attempted a novel a few times but lately, my attention deficit has been off the hook so that doesn't seem plausible at the moment.

I feel like different streams of writing would benefit me as a more professional writer.

I do worry I would get overwhelmed if I added too much at once and then actually end up doing the opposite of my intentions.

I also fear losing interest in my writing endeavors altogether.

I invested in Writers Work and although I feel it was a wise investment I just don't feel confident enough to pitch to clients as of yet.

I don't feel I quite have my footing in the world of internet writing.

I can't help wondering though if am I treating medium like an old comfy sweater to hide underneath.

Currently, I am toying with either beginning yet another novel or hashing out a series of short stories.

I just hope my short attention span is on for the challenge.
