So we are
Preyed and then bound
We flee, we fly So we are But we aren’t to be found In our path
We offer, we give Nothing is needed Our soul is the only thing Worth taking
Some to be Others to feel Most to be pleased We are to sell anyway
From birth to death All seems to be tamed Our minds, our smiles And the lines we have to write
One day, we miss being The next day we’re found guilty In our mind, then our act And by the people who lost their pride
We pray to be found Preyed and then bound For granted we are taken Until we are mistaken
Once we become one We are them, they are us When we come along We lose our “once upon”
