So, Tell Me About This Metaverse
A poem to the voices in my head
Beckoning, relating how nice it is in that world over there; me, half-listening, with little care of leaving here.
So, tell me, I tease them whenever they come with sweet entreaties. Can you feel like me, the cool raindrops caressing hot skin caught in a midday shower?
Can you hear the sweet notes — do you even have ears, of music that lifts me up each time, carrying me away to rooms you inhabit?
Taste, remember salt, pepper, sour, and sweet, so sweet like honey, like young love chocolate and chocolate sheets, hungry eyes seeing all devouring, fulfilled by sight, inhaling deeply the incense of pure love.
So, tell me, I tease them Do you have all that over there?
