Snow White Shavings
December Six Word Photo Story Challenge: “Snow & White”
Fresh Snow Shavings in My Kitchen.
Coconuts are used extensively in Indian cuisine, especially in the southern states. I blend coconut “meat” almost every day to make chutneys or curries.
But today, I looked at the mound of snowy, white coconut shavings in my kitchen and exclaimed: “Photo-op!” — instead of “Curry.”
And that’s when I knew I had it pretty bad — I was addicted to six-word photo stories.
But it’s a good kind of bad.
Colors pop when I look at the world with photo-curious eyes.
Contrasting hues, shapes, textures — and demeanors — now pique my interest.
So, I find myself clicking pictures of random objects. And, sometimes, of the soft or dark shadows they cast.
Okay, I’m not the world’s best photographer. Maybe second best.
But the whole photo thing — I’m lovin’ it.
