Snow

Softly falling to the ground, Numerous flakes are all around. Outstretch tongues to liquefy Winter’s dessert from the sky.

Ok, so I admit, I’m not a fan of this time of year. There isn’t much about it that I like or matters to me, but I wanted to participate in the prompt. It was difficult to choose a topic to write a poem about that would fit the prompt and be cheery enough. I had to reflect on my childhood about what I used to like about this time of year and chose snow.
