Smile With The Reindeer
Six Word Photo Story November Challenge: Collecting Smiles
The reindeer said touch me not
My friend came to visit me. We decided to go out to a coffee place in the neighborhood market that houses many restaurants.
As we went to the market a person standing outside was advertising a new restaurant called Zero Degrees.
He sold the idea to us that if we go to this restaurant we will end up smiling and laughing.
“Mam, you will enjoy zero degrees a lot. It is super.
It has a great ambiance. There are wonderful eats. You will love our coffee bites.”
How was the coffee, we eagerly asked, and he answered that it was out of the world.
I thought he is surely telling a lie and I told my friend to let us not go to this new restaurant but go to our usual tried and tested place.
The man heard me and coaxed me to go and at least see the decor.
The man chaperoned us up to the lift and pressed the button that we would finally go up.
The entrance door was painted and looked beautiful. It tempted us to go in and take a look at what was inside.
Zero degrees was beautiful inside. It was tastefully decorated with little notes on the walls that made us happy and smiling.
We sat at the table near the reindeer that was wearing green glasses. Three notes next to it were written in pink. A closes look and we saw lovely flower pots in which were planted some green plants.
All three flower pots were identical and so were the plants inside it. They were real plants and the restaurant had taken great care to water the plants and keep them fresh.
TOUCH ME NOT
The music was in the background and it was slightly loud so we asked him to bring the volume down to make it more enjoyable and he did it. The food was excellent and the coffee was amazing.
There were so many flavors but the reindeer recommended that the cappuccino was the best.
Undoubtedly, it was the best coffee I had in some time.
We loved the ambiance but the reindeer was the best, We took pictures with the reindeer because it made us smile.
Hope the reindeer gave you a reason to smile and you smiled with the reindeer too.
My advice is that in life you should open yourself to new possibilities. You could be surprised by the result and have a reason to smile too.
