Smashing Your Limiting Beliefs To Create A Life You Love
We all have them: Limiting beliefs. A belief instilled in us at a young age, that limits what we think possible for ourselves.
Some of mine are/were:
I can’t do it by myself
Someone must help me
I can’t make a lot of money
Usually these limiting beliefs are instilled in us by parents, trying to protect us from the world. You may have been told you can’t do something because:
“That’s not who we are”
Meaning of course, your family, your community, your people.
That of course, is not true. You can be whoever you want to be. This is your life, and you get to choose.
But limiting beliefs have a real hold on us. As long as they are in place, it is difficult to see the possibilities that exist for us. They create a vibrational frequency which keep us locked in a small world.
Until we break free.
So how do we break through the cage of limiting beliefs?
An important first step is this:
You MUST Put Yourself First
Do your limiting beliefs reflect who you want to be? Ask yourself this question:
“Is this how I want to feel?”
If it’s not, know that you have the power to change that. You have the power to think and feel whatever you want.
By putting yourself first, you are able to start to take control of those limiting beliefs.
Once you’ve decided that you are the most important person in your life, (you are) you can start to take back your own power.
To start this journey, become aware of your thoughts. Whenever a challenge arises, what are your immediate thoughts? Do you think you can achieve something or not? If you don’t like the thoughts that arise, and how you feel as a result, then it’s time to change those thoughts.
This is a conscious decision on your part, so you have to really want it.
Once you’ve decided that you’re worth it (you are) you can start to raise your vibrational frequency to the level you decide, not your limiting beliefs.
Start by taking stock of all the good things that are already in your life. This is the practice of GRATITUDE.
Gratitude is a high-flying vibration that connects you with all the good things you want in your life. It’s like a lasso, gathering all the components you need, to create your ideal life.
Meditation is another way you can raise your vibrations. By quieting your mind, your vibrations naturally rise. This is when you get inspiration. This is when ideas, words, concepts pop into your head.
Follow those leads. It’s the Universe connecting with you.
Visualization is a third technique you can use to raise your vibrations. By allowing yourself to see, and FEEL your ideal life, you create a picture in your mind, and infuse it with high vibrations. More than a picture, it’s a direct order to the Universe to deliver this life to you.
Consistency is the key here. You can’t just dabble, and get amazing results. If you’re half-hearted, you’re results will be half-hearted. You have to do these things on a regular basis.
Ask yourself this question in the morning:
How will I raise my vibrations today?
Will it be through gratitude, meditation, visualization?
All these tools are powerful and at your disposal.
All these tools smash through your limiting beliefs and allow you to raise your vibrations. A high vibration connects with another high vibration. This is a good thing because everything you want is vibrating at a high level. You wouldn’t want it otherwise.
Fill your mind and your thoughts with positive, high vibrations. That is taking control of your limiting beliefs, smashing them to pieces, and creating a life you love.
