Smart Contract Hacking course: Rewarded as the first Course Ambassador Student. How can you get there?

Making it to Course Ambassador is allowing me to start monetizing my knowledge and expertise while helping others in the community improve their skills in smart contract hacking.

How did I make it there?

I remember the day before the course was released. I had barely spent a few weeks involved in Web3 Security and a bit more than a month into learning about EVM.

And I remember being excited and afraid at equal parts.

From my point of view, I was going to join a competitive course where people seemed to know much more than I knew and had been involved in the realm definitely longer than I had.

So, how did I turn this around?

If I remember properly, the course started this past 13th of March 2023

And the funny part is that by the 14th of March, I had already been promoted to the second level in SCH Discord.

So, where did that fear go?

Well, the fear was there all the time, however, the fact that I had to speak about what I was experiencing, and how I was feeling about my decision, made me think of writing an article you might know by now, “Why have I decided to pay for a Smart Contract Hacking course?

I didn’t need to justify myself to anyone, however, I felt right away I was doing the right thing and I wanted to shout it out loud for anyone else around to be aware of it.

So what happened here?

Did I know Johnny Time before joining the course? Had I packed something with him to promote his course?

I was not that lucky. No, I didn’t speak with him about it.

So, what happened here is that I provided value to someone without that person asking or probably even expecting it.

But there’s more…

In one of the first introductory lessons, it was mentioned about sharing things that we learn with the community. Of course, always without disclosing the course’s content.

So, I started right away writing articles explaining things I had learned, tweeting about tools recommended in the course, and other types of content. This means I continued providing value to many other people who couldn’t join the course.

How can you get there?

Either if you’re part of the SCH course or not, make sure you share your experience through this journey.

So, many people are in the same situation as you are, and at the same stage of learning.

  • You can share how hard/easy you have found some material
  • What this tool/article has taught you
  • What are you currently studying
  • Or which platforms or Twitter accounts are helping you the most

And this is going to be valued by everyone!

What goes around… comes around!
