Slice
#17 of 31 Days SCWBI Challenge – A Haiku for you

A slice of pizza
Colours of Italian flag
Get in my belly
One of my favourite dishes in Italy. Yummo.
I have to admit though spaghetti con vongole still wins out for me.
We had a version they called Crazy Macaroni in a small town south of Naples.
This picture still makes me start salivating. The silky fresh pasta, with the slightest of bite. A layer buttery goodness sprinkled with salty parmesan, with the sweetness of the fresh clams… oh my taste bud heaven.
The view was the icing on the cake.

A slice of absolute bliss!
The meal well worth the bedding of choice for almost 3 months as my partner, Boj and I indulged on a culinary treasure hunt of Europe.

From a slice of pizza, to crazy macaroni, to a slice of bliss and our home of choice to balance the budget.
The dots of connection faint, but I am claiming (clamming?! Ha sorry) them none the less!
Can’t help but share a few more shots from around the town, including the actual pizza we ate there. It came out in a matter of minutes. The wood fire primed to a perfect heat.

While I am lovingly showering attention on Italy, I would be remiss if I didn’t give a shoutout to ICO and his passion that inspired the creation of a new language.
