“Skyrocketing Success: How I Gained 50 Followers on Medium in Just One Week and Sustained the Momentum — Proven Tips for Ongoing Growth!”

So I have been a professional writer now for just over a week. Yes, I can say that now. Sounds funny. I think many people aspire to be one, but never do.

But I am. And in a little over a week, I have convinced 52 followers to read my stories. A small number sure, but I am thrilled. And scared. And old enough to admit it. But isn’t that part of the journey?

Here are my thoughts:

So with my roughly 10 days of experience on the line here, I will say the #1 thing that I have learned, and the tool most used to help me is by becoming a paid member and being able to access and read all member stories.

It also gets the author paid for his work. And since most of us want that, it just makes sense to sign up and not only reward your fellow writers on here, but get paid as well for your own work.

And if you read my previous story, “Maximizing Medium’s Friend Network" you can become a “Friend of Medium” and when we read your stories, you get 4x the earnings for your work.

That’s a nice little bonus.

And I read a lot!

So if you want to earn more for your work, read, follow, and clap for my work, and I will return the kindness. I am constantly reading new followers work, as it only helps us all.

I was able to read the work of some of my fellow writers right as they were embarking on their journey as well, making friends and getting tips from people just like myself who are taking it “by the horns” and giving it a shot.

While I am not knocking staying a “non-member”, I believe by doing so that the algorithm will mainly put stories in front of you from long time seasoned writers. Ones with hundreds and thousands of followers who have earned their stripes already.

If you are looking for a community of new writers, I think it’s best to become a member.

I understand the jump from member to Friend of Medium is a big one. That’s not affordable for all, I get that.

But for roughly $5 a month, I think the value of membership is totally worth it and will only help you. That’s less than a Grande Caramel Macchiato at Starbucks.

So work hard, write, and then write some more. Become a member. And follow as many “Friends of Medium” as you can, and you’ll earn some decent coin when we read your work.

The journey continues… If you enjoyed this, please applaud loudly, and thank you for spending your time reading my work..
