Poetry Prompt: Composure
Sky Song

seeking cool rhythms
watching winter’s symphonies
mumurations rise
harmonise the silent air
with synchronised composure
On most days I walk our dog, Munch, through the fields and small woods and along the brook — just a few minutes walk away from where I live. I feel so fortunate to be able to witness the seasons change in such peaceful surroundings. And when my mind is overly busy or chaotic, this is where I can get my thoughts into a better rhythm.
Now accepting haiku, tanka, and monoku poems on the theme of composure. What brings you ease or makes you feel composed?
