Learn2Earn — Web 3.0 Education Frontier

Web3 and Gamification are two sides of the same medal. Web3 allows users to keep real exclusive possession of their data while due to cookies and other tracking, Web2 was an immense collector of personal data from users. Gamification stimulates them in taking more actions into the platform .
Web3 ecosystem represents the natural evolution of Web2, integrating rewards for users according to the actions they perform into the platform. Gamification is then the new leverage to market an idea, building traction in the community and engaging users through rewards.
What is now the key for a successful Web3 project? Well, a lot of factors, but since the market is getting more crowded the
- Project,
- Technical aspects
- Team and
- Token purpose (Tokenomics)
will make an even bigger difference than before.
I already wrote an article about the first technical aspect I started considering, that is Tokenomics, one of my key expertise areas so I will not deep dive again there, but if you are interested, give a read at the following article.
Upon the tokens use cases stimulating the platform adoption, the business area that is still leading the market is Gaming, with the so called GameFi. I wrote an article about this as well and you can find it here. GameFi represents a huge evolution of Gaming, with more engagement to be deployed, thanks to token utilities.
Another business area that has already raised a huge number of users in Web2 (and consequently Money) is Education.
Yes, education, learning and all the business related to teaching things and sharing educational contents.
First comes first: Why people should choose a platform to host their paid educational contents?
If someone is planning to issue a course but it does not have a native audience, some platforms will provide an all-in-one solution for newcomer teachers. Platforms like Udemy, Gumroad and many more, offer the storage, accounting service, base audience of people looking for courses there, marketing support and other features.
Depending on the activity you want to carry on onto the course platforms, you may face different recurring (or starting) costs but in many cases, for starters, the base version of the platforms is more than enough, meaning that they will pay a fee on the sold items, with no fixed costs. This means that with a platform like these you can have a lot of services with almost no technical background or specific marketing skills.

These platforms provide a huge amount of courses and users usually choose the course (among the same topic) evaluating ratings.
Well, who are the ones rating the course?
Usually, only people that attended the course (with eventually other restrictions) should be elected as voters and “raters”. Anyway, these exact same people were the ones in need of such information meaning that they may be not fully proficient in such topic and that their rating can be biased or simply inaccurate due to their inexperience.
So is this rating method enough to rate educational contents?
I do not think so and other parameters have to be taken into consideration.
This is exactly what we are doing at Skillsbite, a rising project founded in the United Kingdom by Polish co-founders Max and Piotr.
The idea is to create a platform where users and creators are rewarded in a meritocratic way and with a decentralized attitude according to the quality of the content created by Content Creators and the quality of interactions done by the Users.
Users will be rewarded in tokens according to the proficiency they will show at the end of each course they will attend AND they will obtain qualifications and recognition to increase the potential when companies will come to our platform looking for prospects.

The key idea, will be the integration of knowledge with work opportunities AND inside tasks to be done in a more extensive way when compared to Fiverr or Anytask.
How will users get access to Skillsbite?
There will be different monthly subscription and every one will give different benefits to retail users. Even companies, thank to the Corporarte program that we are developing, will enjoy Skillsbite’s learning paths for their employees.

Monthly subscription will be payable with main fiat currencies, cryptocurrencies or via an internal on-ramp service to support Skillsbite and avoid paying commissions to already huge fiat-to-crypto service providers. Otherwise people will be able to transfer their cryptocurrencies directly inside Skillsbite platform and use them to pay for the subscription or other inner services.
For the moment we cannot disclose more, since the project is really ramping up and we want to keep some strategic features internal. But as soon as we will launch it, you will notice some very nice stuff!
