Sketching Wildlife from Photographs

This sketch was created in response to Dennett’s “Shake it Up” July Weeds and Wildflowers prompt.

This was a ten-minute sketch and is the first attempt. I’ll admit to being out of practice as I’ve not been doing any art for quite a while.

I really enjoyed the challenge, however, and will be doing some more before the end of the month.

This one was created using a 4B sketching pencil, a torchon and Canson Mi-Teintes paper from a little travel book measuring 4" x 6".
