Singing a Happy Tune

A poem about singing

In melodies sweet, my heart takes flight, singing lifts me to a world of delight. With each note I release, my spirit soars, and all of life’s worries gone for a while.

In the rhythm, I sway. I find my ease as harmonies weave through the whispering trees. With every breath, a singing voice so high, for in the music’s hold, I’m reborn.

Oh, how the chorus of joy sets me free, in the cadence of song, I find my glee. With each verse I share, my soul takes flight, and the world around me is painted in light.

I feel like I’m flying higher than lying. A power takes hold as my lungs fight a cold but I grapple deep within and fight for breath singing in melody in a chorus choir brimming with fire.

Through highs and lows, in every key, singing guides me to serenity. With each melody, my smile finds its home, and in the song’s embrace, I’m never alone.

So let me sing, let my voice resound, in the beauty of music, my happiness is found. With every lyric, my heart sings anew, and in the joy of singing, my spirit is true.
