Sing Birdy Sing - Magic Of Birdsong.
November Six Word Photo Story Challenge: “Collecting Smiles”
I woke up this morning smiling!
While turning and twisting in bed and feeling too lazy to get up, I heard the birds chirping.
I walked over to the bedroom window and found a beautiful yellow bird perched on a frail branch of a tree, singing and happy to be alive.
“Every bird, every tree, every flower reminds me what a blessing and privilege it is just to be alive.” Marty Rubin.
The quote reminded me of all the blessings that God has showered on me.
Hearing birds chirping in the morning symbolizes different things in different cultures. I have always believed that birds singing near my window in the morning signifies that the universe was blessing me.
I opened the window, and the bird tilted its head to one side and looked at me with bright, clear eyes.
I smiled and said, “Hello, Birdy!”
The bird chirped as if saying, “Good morning! Today will be a beautiful day.”
“The birds I heard today, which, fortunately, did not come within the scope of my science, sang as freshly as if it had been the first morning of creation.” Henry David Thoreau.
