Silver Glimmers: An Etheree
Contemplations of chiaroscuro
The oyster shell, swirled and pearled inside, after the bounty is plundered; reflected radiance and eddied fogs, exhaled upon walls and ceilings of a sand grain's aquatic chamber; the dreaming of a pale pearl’s becoming
Intricate tracings of wandering snails, mercuric hieroglyphics; read, like strange nocturnal tales by the winking eye of crescent moon; gleaming delicacy of filigree, laced, across parchment of pathways after rain
What delights bright, lie in contemplations of chiaroscuro; light amidst darkness, just as stars pierce depths of night sky, without which, midnight’s firmament would seem an eerie void, looming above, threatening to stifle us while we dreamed
Before, and after the cliché — linings silver, through dark terrains of travail, veined in obsidian cliffs of unbearable impasses; hope, despite arduous obstacles, grace like moonlight, grazing liquid lips of life’s lake
