Signs Along the Steep Steps of Life

Resolutions from the Waterfall Temple in Penang

I wrote about our walk up 500 steps of the Waterfall Temple when we were in Penang last November remembering that “Every meaningful journey begins with the first step”.

At intervals along the 500 steps up Penang Hill to the temple at the top, there were signs to encourage the climbers.

These were my favorites:

WaterFall Temple (Hill Top Murugan Temple) — photo by author

Do good deeds. I must have the desire to do good deeds.

So keep walking. One step at a time. Day by Day. Remember to do Good Deeds along the way.

Some lighter “Sign” stories by me—

Traveling
A Good Deed
