Showing Kindness And Being Generous Should Not Be Difficult

There are many who could use help

People with plenty of money could share and help more.

There are a lot of people living with sadness and despair in this world. The United States has a large number of people living in poverty and even homelessness. There are people who could use some help in their desperate time of need.

Those who are blessed to be in the middle class and upper middle class likely do not have to worry on a daily basis about how they are going to pay their living expenses or buy food. The rich and wealthy do not have those concerns.

Many who are well off financially do give to charities or to their church. They try to do their part to donate to worthy causes. They are using their means to benefit others who may need assistance.

The world would be made better if more people would be willing to show kindness to others by being generous with their money. Those who are blessed with abundance could help others more by sharing.

A man told about his experiences. He had lost his job and was having difficulty finding another one. He had used up most of his savings and was in a dire financial condition. He went to his cousin to ask for a loan to tide him over until he could get on his feet. The cousin had plenty of money but said that he had made it a practice to never lend money to family members.

What kind of crazy rule is that? Family should be there to help each other if they are able. Family should be the ones you can depend on to help each other if possible. This person was unwilling to help out a family member.

My own nephew sent out an email to his extended family after the COVID pandemic started. He asked if anyone of the family needed help or if others would be willing to help anyone in need. He was willing to help his family. Luckily, no one seemed to need the assistance. It was offered if needed.

Families should be concerned with each other’s welfare and care about each other. They should be willing to help if they are able and it is requested.

Sharing what one has need not be that difficult. It is not easy to ask for help or feel like you have to beg for help during hard times. If someone requests a helping hand, it should not be difficult to show kindness even if financial help is not possible.

Sometimes it is a good idea to ask people if they need help if it is known that there are problems with employment or money.

There is a lot of hate in this world. It would make the world a better place if more people would be willing to share and show kindness to family members or even to strangers.
