He is in really bad shape; luckily, his face is still recognizable. You activate the face recognition on your visor to check his ID.

A collection of beautifully organized holographic information populates the area around his face. Name, family status, photos, and residence address.

“Lehman Snowden, tech officer in Novacar. Huh — damn shame. Well, buddy, there’s not much I can do to save you. I’m sorry.”

You grab your pistol and give him a painless death. The many pockets of his expensive suit hold nothing of value. A silver locket in his hand, though, catches your attention. You examine it.
