I need advice from Dogecoin experts

I have no idea about cryptocurrencies. But since I missed the hype that pushed Bitcoin to an all-time high, I naturally wonder if I can afford to ignore the topic of cryptocurrencies in the long run.

Then yesterday, for the first time in my life, I read an article about Dogecoin. A Dogecoin can be bought for a fraction of a dollar or euro and has increased in value by over 600% within a month.

Apparently, activity on Reddit and tweets from celebrities like Snoop Dog and Elon Musk have led to this jump in price. Currently, the price for one Dogecoin is around $0.073. Many fans of this cryptocurrency believe that the price could rise to one dollar in the medium term.

All this sounds too good to be true for me on the one hand. On the other hand, I could easily afford to use 100 euros as a test balloon and buy Dogecoin.

Still, I hesitate. One hundred dollars is not much, but I resist just throwing it out the window.

What to make of the hype that is running rampant right now? Will it last for a while or be over tomorrow?
