You have a beautiful soul, my dear reader ❤

Oh, that’s just my way to make you feel good…

Not all days are the same. Sometimes, we feel so good that we just can’t help but share the love. And sometimes, we’re feeling angry for no reason at all!

When you’re feeling down and out, here are five things that might be able to shock your internal angry-bird into submission.

1) Smile at a stranger

They might be feeling the same as you, or even worse. You don’t know them so give them a little love!

GUILTY AS CHARGED. I LOVE TO SMILE AT STRANGERS!!! ;)

Smiling is contagious, so you just might make their day by brightening it up.

Plus, studies have shown that smiling releases endorphins in your brain, making you feel good!

WIN-WIN SITUATION HERE, FOLKS.

So the next time you’re feeling down, go out and smile.

2) Look at lights — stare at them!

How often do you get a chance to look at lights? Well, today is the day to stare and appreciate them.

THE LIGHTS ARE BEAUTIFUL. JUST LOOK AT THEM AND APPRECIATE THEIR LUMINOSITY!

Lighting up your life reminds you of how lucky we are, reminds us that there is always something to be happy about.

Take a few minutes out of your day, and just stare at the lights. You’ll feel better about it!

3) Be silly around kids

Kids don’t care about what’s going on in the world. They are too busy having fun and being happy to even think of anything sad!

I’M A KID AT HEART, SO THEY MAKE ME FEEL GOOD TOO!!

When you’re feeling down, find a child who is playing alone (or better yet, take one along with you) and play around. The child will laugh at your silliness, which makes YOU feel good!

4) Hoot, Hoot! Think about your goal

When you’re feeling down, it’s easy to forget your goal and everything that made you happy.

Well… Hoot hoot! *MY SIDEKICK HAS ARRIVED*

Being silly around kids reminds me of my personal GOAL — which is to be a kid at heart for eternity!!

I don’t want to grow up. I love being a child and spreading happiness everywhere that I go.

This reminds me of my mission in life — which makes me happy! :)

Hoot Hoot! Remember your goal, and be happy. You’re doing great at it!

Remembering our GOAL is what helps us get through tough times :)

5) Remind yourself of two things that make you happy

Write down two things that make you really happy, and keep them somewhere you can see them every day.

THE TWO THINGS THAT MAKE ME HAPPY ARE: (DRAWING A CIRCLE AROUND THEM)

-Spending time with my family

-Writing for my readers

Remembering two things that make us really HAPPY is an easy way of making sure we stay on track. It’s like giving ourselves a mental hug :)
