Roz Warren is one of my favorite writers on Medium. She’s hilarious because she’s real, and speaks her mind — always.

And also, she is a talented writer.

I loved her Sherpa piece. I have thought about the idea of how we guide our friends and family into the Medium experience for some time now. I love that she finally came out as a sherpa.

How do you play Sherpa?

Personally, I tell them that Medium is the next great network marketing opportunity.

“All I need to do is fine 5 friends and family to join. It’s only $5 a month, and when you join as a member, you can read EVERY article! There’s every topic you can imagine! AND when you read my pieces, I get paid!”

THEN, if YOU go get five, and THEY each get five, before long, we’ll have this huge network of people each reading our work! Don’t worry — I’ll help you! I am here for you. I am not successful unless you are successful! Before long, I’ll be a millionaire! SEE YOU AT THE TOP!!!
